Local Tours — Book with the Locals We Trust

Hand-picked day tours from genuinely local operators near Jökulsárlón and Skaftafell — guided glacier walks and sightseeing flights.

See local tours

Glacier Trips’ Local Tours are hand-picked day tours run by genuinely local operators across Southeast Iceland: guided glacier walks near Jökulsárlón and Skaftafell, and sightseeing flights over Vatnajökull and its glacier lagoons. You book each one here on glaciertrips.is at the operator’s own price, the same price they charge on their own site. Glacier Trips is the local curator, not the operator: we live and work here, and these are the family- and owner-run neighbours we trust.

Our own natural ice cave tours are a winter offering, running October to April, and they live on their own pages. This collection is what to do the rest of the year, when the local operators are out on the ice and in the air.
